2.1mm spine thickness with a slight convex grind with a polished micro-bevel.
Steel is 256 layer Damascus of 1095 and 15N20 with a hardness of 60HRC +/-1, Handed sanded to 2000grit then etched in Ferric chloride, and then etched/stained in Coffee to create the great contrast and then sanded to 5000 grit before the finish.
The handle is made of 6000-year-old Bog Oak, a Laguna Blue dragon scale JUMA, and Gabon Ebony, the same ebony that is used to make the Saya. and has white Micarta and stainless steel sandwiches as spacers. This is then hand sanded up to 1200grit, polished, and coated with Tung Oil and Polyurethane to seal and protect the handle.
